These are screen shots of footage that my group and I filmed and chose not to use for our video for various reasons.
We chose not to use this shot as the character has her back to camera which is not flattering and all performers know the rule of never showing your back to an audience. The shot just does not work at all.
This shot was not used for the obvious reason that one of the characters heads is out of the frame. This was a technical mistake that we made and we chose not to use this shot for the bad composition.
We chose not use this image as the characters are making faces which is not attractive for the viewer as well as that they are breaking their Hip Hop act of being quite powerful and dominant.
We chose not to use this shot as the set is showing which looks very unprofessional as well as not looking very attractive.
Finally we chose not to use this shot simply because we could not fit it in our video, we made a creative decision as a group as we didn't want to use this still shot at the end of the video, we chose a different still shot to use, which we felt was more powerful because of the use of a zoom out making the still shot look more ineteristing.
